- Student should arrive at school 5 minutes before class. School gates will be closed at 7:35 am sharp and no child will be allowed later except once in a month.
- Each student must carry his/her almanac & identity card to school every day.
- The student’s name and other details including specimen signature of parents/must be filled in scholar’s diary within a week of the reopening of School.
- Student must note down home works, daily lesson, reports and instructions delivered by teacher.
- Students must get the diary acknowledged by parents’ daily.
- Students will not be permitted in the class if their remarks / reports are not signed.
- If a student loses his/her diary, he/she will be subject to disciplinary action. A new diary will have to be purchased.
- Students should be habitually clean & always neatly dressed.
- The school uniform should be worn on all working days & functions.
- Students who are not dressed up properly or not in uniform may be sent home.
- Wearing low waist trouser & skirt is forbidden.
- Students should not wear ornaments. They are not allowed for any kind of make-up, kajal, nail paint, hair gel etc.
- Boys must get their hair cut at regular intervals & must keep short hair with no abnormal hair style.
- Girls having long hair must tie up plaits & pinup their hair neatly with black band on regular days and white with house uniform.
- Students are not allowed to bring mobile phones to school, if they are found with, it will be confiscated.
- No books, periodicals, magazines or paper should be brought to school expect those allowed by the school.
- Lending or borrowing of money or other articles is not allowed.
- Changing of classrooms between periods should be done in an orderly manner and silently.
- Student must not leave their classroom without obtaining class pass from teacher.
- Students are responsible for the safe custody of their belongings. They must keep these neatly covered and labeled.
- Students who come with parents should never leave before parents arrive. In case of delay they should report to the Front Desk Executive.
- Students using school bus will maintain discipline in the bus. Students found aggressive or of violent behavior, won’t be allowed in school bus and such student will be picked & dropped to school by their parents.
- Students are forbidden to leave the school premises during school hours hence parents should not make a request for half day or early leave.
- In case of emergency an authorized person should only come to fetch the child with a note of authority from the parents/ guardians.
- JJPS students should always be polite wherever they go. They should behave in civilized manner at all the times as the school is judged by their conduct.
- The students should greet their teachers and all elders when they meet them.
- Any type of discourtesy or disrespect to members of the staff will be treated severely.
- School staff doesn’t accept any types of gift in any manner, kindly do not offer. Only your cooperation and support in student’s development is required and expected & that’s a valuable gift.
- Students should not spoil or pluck flowers & leaves.
- Students are expected to keep their class room and school building and campus as clean as possible and use the dustbins to throw leftovers.
- Students are expected to respect school property, should not damage school furniture or damage things belonging to others. Damage even accidently should be reported at once to the CT.
- The following are strictly prohibited & treated severely –
- Writing/drawing on the shirt, uniform, furniture and walls
- Spitting in or near the school building.
- Smoking
- Any form of gambling
- Use of violence in any form
- Use of drugs or intoxicants
- Rude behavior
- Casteism, Communalism or untouchability in any form
- Bursting crackers or throwing colors
- Bullying and use of foul/abusive language are punishable offences.
- Students are not allowed to bring any sharp instruments to the school which can cause injury to others.
- As the school is right from Nursery to XII hence, it is expected that the juniors should be treated affectionately. While the juniors should respect all elders.
- Student should not join others in violent activities leads to destruction is subject to punishment.
- It is mandatory for each child to take an active part in all activities conducted by the school unless medically unfit.
- Students are expected to be in the class on the opening day after each of the vacations and on the closing day before vacations. Those absent because of sickness must inform the school before or on the reopening day and present a medical certificate.
- Students are expected to follow instructions, directions and orders given by school authorities.
- Students using unfair means during examination will face disciplinary action.
- Students acting against the principles and norms of school discipline will face strict disciplinary action.
- Student are not allowed to use the school telephone without the permission of Front Desk Executive, students will not be called to answer phone calls during class hours.
- A child will not be given attendance during suspension period.
- School rules can be changed without prior notice or reason.
- Parents and pupils should comply with the requirements and regulations of the school.
- Parents should check the Activity Planner for Holidays, PTM, Examination & other activities.
- The school reserves the right to dismiss those whose progress in studies is steadily unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to others, or whose guardians show little interest in the progress of their wards. Immorality, grave insubordination contempt of authorities and willful damage to the school property is always sufficient reason for immediate dismissal.
