At Career Point World School, Jodhpur, we believe that real-world experiences are some of the best teachers. In line with this philosophy, our curious and energetic Grade 7 students recently embarked on an educational visit to the Dainik Bhaskar Printing Press – a tour that turned into a window into the exciting world of media and journalism.
From the moment they entered the press facility, students were fascinated by the Scale, Speed, and Precision of the operations. The visit provided a unique, behind-the-scenes glimpse into how a newspaper is brought to life – from the first draft of a news story to the final printed copy that reaches homes across the city.
During the tour, students explored multiple departments including News editing, Layout design, Plate making, and the high-speed printing section. The Dainik Bhaskar team graciously guided our students through each step, explaining how stories are curated, pages are designed, and content is printed with such accuracy on a massive scale.
A major highlight of the visit was watching the printing machines in action, where vibrant newspaper pages rolled out at remarkable speeds. Students learned about color layering, ink usage, and the advanced logistics behind daily newspaper distribution.
This enriching experience not only sparked their curiosity and admiration for media professionals, but also gave them a newfound respect for the teamwork, coordination, and technology that goes into publishing a newspaper every day.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Dainik Bhaskar team for welcoming our students and turning this educational visit into an unforgettable learning journey!
