Creating a safe and supportive environment is essential for every child’s growth and well-being. Reinforcing its commitment to student safety, Career Point World School Jodhpur hosted a Government-Sponsored Awareness Workshop on Good Touch, Bad Touch, and the POCSO Act. The informative session aimed to educate students about personal safety, child rights, and the importance of speaking up in uncomfortable situations.
The workshop was conducted by Mr. Hiten Joshi, Special Judicial Magistrate, Jodhpur, who shared valuable insights on child protection and legal awareness. Through an interactive and student-friendly approach, he explained the difference between good touch and bad touch, helping students understand personal boundaries and recognize unsafe situations.
The session also introduced students to the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, highlighting its key provisions and the legal safeguards available to protect children. Students were encouraged to trust their instincts, communicate openly with parents and teachers, and seek help whenever they felt unsafe or uncomfortable.
The workshop created an engaging learning environment where students actively participated, asked thoughtful questions, and gained practical knowledge about personal safety and responsible decision-making. The interactive discussions helped build confidence while reinforcing the importance of awareness, self-protection, and timely reporting.
At Career Point World School Jodhpur, student well-being is a top priority. Along with academic excellence, the school regularly organizes awareness programmes that empower students with essential life skills, safety education, and confidence to face real-life situations responsibly.
The Good Touch, Bad Touch & POCSO Awareness Workshop was another meaningful step towards creating a secure, informed, and nurturing learning environment where every child feels safe, respected, and empowered.
