Reinforcing its commitment to student safety, Career Point World School Jodhpur hosted a Government-Sponsored Awareness Workshop on Good Touch, Bad Touch, and the POCSO Act. The informative session aimed to educate students about personal safety, child rights, and the importance of speaking up in uncomfortable situations.
The workshop was conducted by Mr. Hiten Joshi, Special Judicial Magistrate, Jodhpur, who shared valuable insights on child protection and legal awareness. Through an interactive and student-friendly approach, he explained the difference between good touch and bad touch, helping students understand personal boundaries and recognize unsafe situations.
The session also introduced students to the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, highlighting its key provisions and the legal safeguards available to protect children. Students were encouraged to trust their instincts, communicate openly with parents and teachers, and seek help whenever they felt unsafe or uncomfortable.
